These delightful pieces are part of a larger collection of six short solos. The first two selections of Op. 32 are surely meant to be played together. Both are in E major, and both share many similarities. But they also contrast nicely—one a lyrical aria and the other an elegant waltz. As you’ll hear, Sor was a master of the musical miniature.
