The metronome is set at 132. As you can hear, this scale is a bit uneven. Further, this was the best of many tries during a recording take. Good technique means that one should be able to hit a scale on the first try—in a live performance, players don’t get mulligans. Finally, I made this recording about two years ago. My right hand technique has regressed since then, so I currently can’t match this speed. |
