This delightful piece is from Brazilian composer Celso Machado’s “Musiques populaires brésiliennes” for flute and guitar. Paçoca is a popular Brazilian treat made of peanuts, sugar, and cassava flour. The word “paçoca” comes from the now extinct Tupi language, and translates as “to crumble.”
